The Family

This site is primarily an outlet for Rob (aka – Bubba, Steve) and Tracey Hines to update friends, family, and interested parties on the goings on with thier family. Bubba also uses it as a place to write about things he finds interesting and perhaps desires to get back to quickly and easily.

Rob and Tracey initially met on November 28, 1990 while serving together in the US Navy; both attending “A School” in Pensacola, FL. They were married by the Justice of the Peace in Pensacola some nine months later on August 6, 1991.

Shortly after they shipped out to Edzell, Scotland where they stayed until late 1994, durring which time thier oldest daughter (Samantha Jean Hines) was born. The family returned to Pensacola for a few months of training, and were subsequently stationed in Manama, Bahrain where they served until early 1997.

They lost a child through complications, yet immediately after that trial (and to the consternation of the medical community) Bethany Nicole Hines was born. Shortly thereafter the family returned to Pensacola, FL and finished up thier Navy Career in Dec 1999.

Released from military service, the family moved to Jackson, MS where they lived for a year and met thier best friends – Tommy and Jodi Jinks. In January 2001, the family relocated to the Greater Chicago Area where they lived in various Western Suburbs through November 2006.

November 2006 saw a move to Lowell, NC (just outside Charlotte) where the family resides to this day.
